Under 15 Cup Run

The Under 15 schoolboys have continued throughout the summer on Tuesday 4th September reached the Final.

Ted Williams reports:-

"SPCC continued their successful run with a fine victory over Wavertree last night to reach the final of the " Echo " Competition. A superb all round bowling performance from all six bowlers restricted Wavertree to 70 all out. A spell of 5 overs 4 wkts for 2 runs from Mike Tieman really put the pressure on Wavertree.
After a shaky start it was an innings from captain Rob Kelly well supported by Mike Christopher that all but saw the team home.
We now move to the final against either Widnes or Rainhill"
In the Final on 16th September, they were beaten by a strong Widnes side

Widnes scored 215 for 6 off 35 overs and Sefton were 106 for 9 off their 35 overs with Daniel Kelly scoring 50 not out.
