Monday 31st May 2010...FirstXI win a Formby

The First XI maintained their undefeated start to the League season with a win at Formby. The home side won the toss and decided to bat first. They were dismissed for 164 in 56 overs with David Baird taking 3 for 66 and Rob Houghton 4 for 31. Sefton's reply saw Raj Patel dismissed for 71 with score on 96 for 6, Rob Houghton was dismissed on 116 but Paddy Stern (29 not out) and David Baird (22 not out) steered Sefton to a 3 wicket victory with 9 overs left.

Bootle visited Sefton Park for the Second XI game , they batted first and declared on 205 for 8 in 45 overs with Peter Kelly taking 4 for 51. Sefton Park's reply never really gathered pace and they were dismissed for 140 in the penultimate over. Iain Squires (30) and Jonny Woodsmith (35) were the top scorers.

Thursday 3rd June...Win at Highfield in Cockspur Cup

The Cockspur Cup is, for the second season running, a Twenty20 competition. Sefton Park travelled to Highfield for the first round and achieved an excellent win. They batted first and scored 214 for 4 in their 20 overs with Sean Vandome scoring 45, D avid Baird 62, Raj Patel 44 and John Jackson 23 not out. In reply Highfield never looked like reaching the total, finishing on 130 for 7, Rob Houghton had the best figures with 2 for 22
