An update on the lower teams.

The Fourth XI missed out on second place in their division because they were in a league where some teams played 21 games and others 20. It was thought that league positions were decided on average points per game but this is not the case so we are left with Wallasey's Thirds finishing with 298 points from 21 games in second place and Sefton Park's Fourths finishing with 297 points from 20 games in third place, Birkenhead Park's Thirds won the league with 360 points from 20 games.

The Sunday XI who were probably affected by the poor summer more that any team, finished third in their division.

The Thirds had a good season and finished third as well as being runners up in the Embee Trophy.
