Alex Miller

Alex Miller

It is with great sadness that Sefton Park CC confirms the passing of Alex Miller on Friday 14th December. Our thoughts are with his father Ray and the rest of his family and friends at this time.

We have lost our finest competitor, our hardest working and most enthusiastic cricketer, a friendly and generous man and a great friend.

Alex, aged 24, was raised in South Africa and joined the club three years ago, progressing to establish himself as second team wicketkeeper in 2012.

We would also like to thank all those from the Merseyside cricket community, and beyond, who have been in touch to express their condolences. Your support is very much appreciated.

Alex’s funeral will be on Thursday 3rd January; more details will follow when they are available.
