Peter Hazlehurst receives Man of Match award
Peter Hazlehurst (left) won the "Man of the Match " award with remarkable figures of 5 wickets for 4 runs. Hazo has picked up wickets and scored runs all season but saved his best performance for this final.
Adam Norcott (right) scored 49 not out to lead Sefton Park to victory. Adam came in at number 3 after the early dismissal of Andy Battersby. He then had a partnership with Ian Squires and the only worrying moment came when Sefton Park were 42 for 3 following Nick Cockrell's run out, but Adam, assisted by Raz Salim, led the side to victory. This was another fine performance by a player who has scored runs consistently all season but everyone agreed that on the day it was a excellent team performance.
