A record stand of 269 for Sefton Park was the obvious highlight of a win at Caldy.

Caldy won the toss and asked Sefton to bat first, 269 runs later the first and only wicket fell when Richard Forsyth was dismissed for 114, Adam Irwin was 145 not when he declared the Sefton Park innings on 269 for 1 in 42.4 overs. Caldy's reply began well as they reached 44 before the first wicket fell but after that, it went downhill and they were dismissed for 127 in the 34th over. Chris Dye finished with 6 or 24 and Peter Kelly 4 for 44.
