Thursday 22nd May...Win in National T20

Sefton Park gained their first win of the season with a six wicket victory over Caldy in the National T20 competition.

Caldy won the toss and decided to bat first on a dark damp evening. They were dismissed off the final ball of their twenty overs, scoring 102. David Baird finished with 4 for 10, Peter Kelly 3 for 4 and Phil Calrow 2 for 21.

Sefton's reply was steady with Daniel Kelly (25) and Richie Conlan (25) putting on 51 for the third wicket. David Baird then scored 20 in 13 balls which enabled Sefton to pass the Caldy total in the 18th over for the loss of 4 wickets.

Sefton now travel to Birkenhead Park in the next round, a chance to meet Robbie Houghton and Chris Bellis.
