A Welcome for Sky

Sefton Park welcomed the Sky cameras last weekend, Sunday 6th and Monday 7th May.

On Sunday the first XI players introduced themselves on camera. In the evening there was a quiz presented by Jamie Bowman who looked good in High Definition, must be after a new job!!

Monday saw the victory over St Helens which despite interruptions for rain proved very entertaining.

7th May...Second Win of Weekend

The visit of the Sky Cameras to Sefton Park coincided with the second win of the weekend for the 1stXI.

St Helens batted first and went on to score 113 all out with three wickets apiece for Dave Poskitt (3 for 59), John Jackson (3 for 17) and Robbie Houghton (3 for 5). In reply Ben Moore (38), John Jackson (35 not out) and Matty Phythian (21) top scored as Sefton reached the required total for the loss of 3 wickets.
