| AUDITORS REPORT TO THE MEMBERS OF | |||||||
| SEFTON CRICKET CLUB | |||||||
| FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 OCTOBER 2007 | |||||||
| We have examined the financial statements on pages 1 to 4. | |||||||
| Respective Responsibilities of the Committee and Auditor | |||||||
| As described on page 5, the Committee is responsible for the preparation of the financial statements. It is | |||||||
| our responsibility to form an independent opinion, based on the examination of those statements and | |||||||
| report our opinion to you. | |||||||
| Basis of Opinion | |||||||
| Our examination was conducted on a full audit except for the payroll and covered evidence relevant to | |||||||
| We planned our examination so as to obtain all the information and explanations which we considered | |||||||
| necessary in order to provide us with sufficient evidence to give reasonable assurance that the financial | |||||||
| statements are free from material mis-statement, whether caused by fraud or other irregularity or error. | |||||||
| We also evaluated the overall adequacy of the presentation of information in the financial statements. | |||||||
| Qualified Opinion | |||||||
| The Club derives a substantial proportion of its income in cash and all relevant steps have been put in | |||||||
| train to qualify most of its income. Only small amounts are not susceptible to independent examination. | |||||||
| We are satisfied that all reasonable steps have been taken to qualify the accuracy of the accounting records. | |||||||
| In our opinion, the financial statements give a true and accurate view of the state of the Club’s affairs for | |||||||
| the year ended 31 October 2007. | |||||||
