We have examined the financial statements on pages 1 to 4.
Respective Responsibilities of the Committee and Auditor
As described on page 5, the Committee is responsible for the preparation of the financial statements. It is
our responsibility to form an independent opinion, based on the examination of those statements and
report our opinion to you.
Basis of Opinion
Our examination was conducted on a full audit except for the payroll and covered evidence relevant to
We planned our examination so as to obtain all the information and explanations which we considered
necessary in order to provide us with sufficient evidence to give reasonable assurance that the financial
statements are free from material mis-statement, whether caused by fraud  or other irregularity or error.
We also evaluated the overall adequacy of the presentation of information in the financial statements.
Qualified Opinion
The Club derives a substantial proportion of its income in cash and all relevant steps have been put in
train to qualify most of its income. Only small amounts are not susceptible to independent examination.
We are satisfied that all reasonable steps have been taken to qualify the accuracy of the accounting records.
In our opinion, the financial statements give a true and accurate view of the state of the Club’s affairs for
the year ended 31 October 2007.
