Jimmy Dixon included in England Men’s Mixed Disability squad

Sefton Park seamer Jimmy Dixon has been selected in England Men’s Mixed Disability squad for this summer’s Vitality Mixed Disability IT20 series against India.

There are four new call-ups, for Antony Clapham, George Greenway, Luke Riley and 17-year-old Henry Golding. Lancashire’s Callum Flynn will lead the team, with Liam O’Brien continuing his role as vice-captain.

Callum Flynn said: "Any time you get selected for England it's an honour, and we're all thrilled about taking part in this series.

"We're building up a pretty good rivalry with India so hopefully we can keep the wins coming this summer, but they're a seriously impressive side and improving every time we come up against them.

"It's fantastic preparation for the Ashes next summer - that's a huge incentive for the whole squad. I'm delighted for Anthony, George, Luke and Henry - they've deserved their call-up and I know they'll be relishing the opportunity."
