Midweek Round Up - Women and juniors in action

Lovely weather this week saw a number of games for our sides following a successful weekend.

On Tuesday evening, the Sefton Women 8s lost a tight pairs game at Wavertree by seven runs. Wavertree 112-5 (Sarah Jackson 2-17) / Sefton 100-4 (Frankie Morris 15).

Sefton U15s are through to the semi-finals of the Liverpool group of the Lancashire Knockout after Formby couldn't raise a team.

Wednesday saw Sefton U15 beat Wallasey by 26 runs. Sefton 129-2 (Sarhad Rustom 50 retired, Dan Cuthbert 31*, Abdul Muhaiman 19) / Wallasey 103-7 (Rustom 3-10).

Thursday witnessed an excellent win for Sefton Sapphires U12 Girls against Liverpool with Sefton's highest girls team score to date - and by some margin - as they scored 121-2 off their 16 overs beating the visitors by 29 runs. A fantastic team performance with the batting of Izzy, Wren and Abby and Felicity's bowling all highlights.
