The Sunday 3rd XI, captained by Pete Elliott, are enjoying a fine season and on Sunday they recorded a fifth win of the season with a six wicket victory over Newton le Willows.
Tom Spilsbury was the pick of the bowlers with 3-43 off his 12 overs as the visitors were dismissed for 138. Sefton lost opener Matthew Young to the first ball of their reply but recovered through Leo Spilsbury (40), Mike Lowe (32) and Tom Spilsbury (40no) to record the win.
The Sunday side's win followed a fantastic turn out for the Under 11 girls festival as teams from across Merseyside played three games and enjoyed a hard ball net session. Well done to everyone who was involved especially the coaches who helped out and of course the girls themselves.

The Women's Softball Development side headed to Aigburth CC for a game with South Liverpool. Batting first, South Liverpool made a net score of 269 with Zoe Manning (2-32) the pick of the Sefton bowlers. Katie Johnston (22) top scored as Sefton won by just one run!
