CRICKET'S BACK THIS WEEKEND!

The L&DCC Restart Competition begins this Saturday 1 August and the bar at Sefton will be open too.  Things will be a little different but every effort has been made to ensure everything is as safe as possible - please read the information below to familiarise yourself with how it will work! We won't have got everything spot on.  There will no doubt be some teething issues and amendments as we work through them.  Please bear with us - and all feedback is welcome - please email seftonparkcc@gmail.com Hope to see you on Saturday or Sunday - or both!!

Bar Service The bar will be open from 4pm until 9pm this Saturday and Sunday.  The pavilion itself will be open from 11.30am until 9.30pm for use of the toilets outside the bar service times. A socially distanced queue with markers on the floor will operate in the function room. Order and pay at the right hand side of the bar where a screen is in place.  Wait in the middle of the bar where tables are positioned to maintain distance from the bar.  Collect drinks from the left hand side of the bar after staff have placed them there. Contactless/card payments ONLY - thanks!!  Membership cards will not be in use this weekend whilst we assess risk.  Members prices will be available. All poured drinks will be served in single use plastic glasses.  Please do not return these to the bar - bins will be available and staff will be collecting empty glasses. The drinks range is initially more limited than usual - San Miguel, Shipyard and Thwaites Smooth on draught plus the majority of the usual bottled beers and ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks. As many doors as possible will be open to minimise contact points - please try to assist us by not touching or leaning on surfaces!!!

Main Pavilion A one way system will be in place.  Entrance will be via the ground side door and exit via the "front" door by the toilets.  Please speak to a member of staff if the steps are a problem for you and alternative arrangements will be made. There will be no seating available inside the pavilion and strictly no waiting in the foyer or on the steps.  Should it rain spectators and players are expected to shelter in their cars or elsewhere outside the pavilion. Bar Service will be from the Function Room bar.  Details to the right! The ladies and gents toilets will be redesignated as unisex with a strict one-in-one-out policy to be adhered to.  Urinals are not to be used.  There will be one socially distanced queue with markers on the floor for the toilets through the members lounge. Hand sanitiser will be available (and recommended!) at the entrance and exit to the pavilion, at the bar, at the end of the toilets queue and on entrance to the site. Lower Pavilion The lower pavilion will be closed other than for access for specific equipment.

Outside Limited outdoor seating will be available in the rose garden and in front of the pavilion.  Will will expect people to social distance here and the best way to ensure this is to stick to one person per bench. Additional seating from the pavilion will be brought out and placed at the rear of the rose garden and potentially other areas too if required. There will be no strictly standing in these areas. Should these areas be full then members are requested to spread out around the perimeters of the grounds (outside the fence!). Spectators are requested to bring their own seating if possible - especially for the lower ground - and set this up in a socially distanced manner. Please do not touch the ball should it leave the field of play - or mingle with players or officials during play - as they are part of their own "bubble". Cleaning, Sanitising and COVID-19 measures If you have any COVID-19 symptoms DO NOT COME!  If you develop any symptoms whilst at the club you will be asked to leave. Both pavilions have been deep cleaned and will be cleaned prior to and after each time the pavilion is opened. The toilets will be cleaned very frequently through the day and all potential contact points will be wiped down on a similar regularity. Hand sanitiser will be available at multiple points through the club - please use it! Staff will be fully trained with regards to additional measures around COVID-19 You MUST sign in in the signing in book with contact details on entrance to the area by the main pavilion. Full risk assessments have been made and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
