The First XI travelled to Crosby to play league leaders Northern.

Sefton won the toss and decided to bat first. They were in trouble immediately and at one point were 42 for 8. Jimmy Dixon (22) and Ghulam Rasool (35 on his First XI debut) then put on 43 for the 9th wicket and the Ghulam Rasool and Raheem Kasser (14 not out) took the score to 113 all out in 51.2 overs.

Unfortunately, Northern knocked off the required runs in 18.2 overs.

So it was one point for the First XI who remain 37 points adrift at the bottom of the table


The Second XI welcomed Northern to Sefton Park.

The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first. After some mopping up of the ground they reached 46 without loss when they had to leave to leave the field for more rain. On return Northern reached 150 for 6 declared in 43 overs.

This gave Sefton Park a good run chase. After losing the first two wickets for 6 runs Scott Aitchison joined Leo Spilsbury in the middle. Their chase only just failed to reach the Northern total finishing 7 runs short in 29 overs ' Scott Aitchison finished with 85 and Leo Spilsbury 44 as Sefton finished on 143 for 4 in a drawn game
