The First XI travelled to Colwyn Bay.

Sefton won the toss and decided to field first.

Two wickets from Huzaifa Zubair gave them a decent start but the home side, then, put on 144 for the third wicket. Their skipper, George Johansen, waited until he had completed his century and then declared on 268 for 3 in 49.1 overs.

In reply, Ben Percival and Leo Spilsbury both scored 36 but Sefton did not look like reaching Colwyn Bay total and were all out 162 in 39.4 overs.

Sefton drop to seventh in the table and look forward to league leaders Southport and Birkdale visiting Sefton Park next week.

The Second XI welcomed Colwyn Bay to Sefton Park.

The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first. Michael Kelly took two quick wickets with only one run on the board. A wicket from Pete Ostler left the visitors on 57 for 3.

However, they also had a centurion in New Zealander Jaiveer Tomar and when he was out for 116, the score was 198 for 4. They went on to declare on 223 for 4 in 34.4 overs.

Michael Kelly finished with 2 for 54.

Sefton soon found out that reaching the Colwyn Bay score was going to be difficult. Matt Young scored a valuable 43 but when he was out, the score was 119 for 6 and we were soon to start the last 20 overs. Two more wickets fell and with the score on 122 for 8 Sam Parkinson joined Connor Melia in the middle. They put up a resistance for 14 overs and when Sam was out for 17, there were just 4 balls left. Daniel Cuthbert faced two and scored a single and Connor was able to bat out the last two as the game finished as a very exciting draw. Connor Melia finished with 24 not out.

Sefton remain eighth in the table and the draw meant that Colwyn Bay stay in the bottom two.

The Third XI played Bootle's 3rdXI AM on the Lower Ground.

Their innings started badly as they fell to 27 for 6. Top scorer Matt Darbon (23) helped to put on 31 for the seventh wicket, Mark Boyns scored 15 at number nine but they were dismissed for 77 in 22.1 overs.

In reply, Andy Nicholas took two wickets to make the score 26 for 2 but Bootle were never in any trouble and passed the Sefton total with three wickets down in 19 overs.

The Thirds remain fourth in the table.

The Fourth XI played table toppers Wavertree's Thirds at the Liverpool College ground.

Sefton won the toss and decided to bat first. Opener Neil Lester scored 56 to hold the early half of the Sefton innings together but the score fell to 112 for 8. At this point Josemon Vincent came in and scored 45 not out in 40 balls to enable Sefton to declare on 167 for 9 in 45 overs. A great effort from number 11 Johnny Dopson as the last wicket pair put on 47 unbeaten runs.

A stand of 64 for the fourth wicket was the back bone of the Wavertree reply and they were able to pass the Sefton total with five wickets down in the 40th over.

The Fourth XI drop to third in the table.
