On a rain affected Saturday, the First and Third Xi games were called off without a ball being bowled.

The Seconds managed an opening stand of 30 between Luke Connolly (18) and Joash Vinu (20) and their game went on for 19 overs as Sefton reached 69 for 2 when rain intervened.

The fourth batted 9 overs and reached 40 for 1 when their game ended. Muhammad Awais (22no) and Rob Kennedy (12no) were the not out batters.

So, it was five points apiece for the Sefton Park sides.
