A new format for the evening saw this year's awards ceremony take place at St Hilda's school where we welcomed a larger number of children, parents and carers.
Guest of honour for the night was Sefton Park 1st XI captain Paul Horton who talked movingly about his fascinating journey from playing cricket as a teenager at Croxteth Drive to becoming a professional player who captained both Lancashire and Leicestershire.
A special thank you goes to Paul for attending and being such a great role model for all our juniors.
Fantastic speeches followed from all the junior coaches concerning what has been a fabulous and silverware-laden season for our juniors. A special thank you goes to Junior Secretary Warren Dutton for compering and organising a brilliant evening.
