Sunday 19th May - Six wins on Super Sunday!

After Saturday's disappointments, Sunday delivered six victories across the club and some outstanding individual performances.

Alex Woods' Sunday XI made the short trip to Liverpool where some great bowling from Ian Dawes (5-28) and Frank Shovlin (4-17) dismissed the hosts for 78. James Daniels (34no) and James Woods (34) ensured an eight wicket win and a fourth win in a row for the league leaders.

On the main ground the Women's First XI hosted Blackpool in their first game in the LCF Women's 40 Over League. Blackpool won the toss and elected to bat, reaching 154-4 off 40 overs. A thrilling run chase was led by Emma Watson (48) and Sarah John (58) who hit her second half century of the weekend as they put on 106 for the third wicket before Caitlin Summers (14no) saw Sefton home with four balls to spare.
