Ronan Brady's side were the only ones to complete a game on Sunday afternoon as the weather closed in.
Sefton Sunday RBXI were bowled out for 123 at Southport Trinity with Neil Lester's 29 at the top of order the biggest contribution. Sefton were right in the game as Trinity slipped to 55-5 but they managed to reach the total for the loss of only one further wicket.
At Sefton, the Sunday AWXI were well-placed when the heavens opened for one final, terminal, time. Sefton recovered from 85-6 to post 154-9d from 39 overs.thanks to a partnership of 55 between Luke Carl (30) and Lewis Probert (24). Carl and Ian Dawes then took two wickets each to leave Southport and Birkdale 66-4 when rain stopped play.
Only 21 overs were possible at Leyland where Sefton Women were 74-5 when play was curtailed.
Better news in the morning as Sefton U11 Green (121-2) beat Northern (41).
