Sunday 7th May - Three wins out of three for Sefton Park sides

A successful Sunday began with a win for Sefton Park over Old Xaverians in the Women's Hardball Super 8s League. Tina Jones (1-4) was the pick of the bowlers before Priyanka Meenamkuzhy Hariharan (11) top scored with the bat in a three run victory.

There was action in the 3rd XI (Sunday) First Division (South) on the top ground at Croxteth Drive. Eleanor Cantwell (2-22), Asiri Gamage (2-11) and Chris Slater (2-26) helped restrict Bootle to 156-8. Jack Hale (50no), Prajesh Shukla (34) and Slater (26) then ensured the target was reached in the 37th over for the loss of four wickets.

In the 3rd XI (Sunday) Premier Division, Pete Elliott's side travelled to Spring View and promptly bowled the hosts out for 78. Devadruv Malyavantham Chittaranjan (48no) and Matthew Young (21) sealed an eight wicket win.
