Another wet Saturday saw all the Sefton Park games called off. At Sefton Park the Second XI were playing New Brighton and the Thirds were playing Liverpool Thirds.
On the road were the First XI at Orrell Red Triangle and the Fourth XI who were playing Bootle's Thirds

On Sunday the two Sefton Park sides captained by Phil Foster and Paul Stirling played each other in a league game.
Phil Foster's side won the toss and elected to bat first. The first three wickets fell fairly quickly, leaving them on 24 for 3. This was followed by a stand of 47 between Jo Ledbury (320 and Tom Bongers (16) and when their wickets fell, two more followed quickly to leave Phil's team on 77 for 7, Mark Boyns (21) and Ronan Brady (16) put on 40 for the eighth wicket, then Ronan Brady and David Foster put on 20 for the ninth wicket. The were eventually all out for 150 in 53.2 overs.
As they stopped for tea the rains game and the game was called off with no decision.
Pick of the bowlers for Paul Stirling's side were Ibrahim Ahmed with 2 for 18, Leo Spilsbury with 4 for 29 and Tom Spilsbury with 3 for 9.
