The First XI welcomed Colwyn Bay to Sefton Park.
The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first.
They put on 42 for the first wicket and built up the innings steadily. A stand of 55 for the seventh wicket was their best and enabled them to declare on to 217 for 8 in 55 overs.
Huzaifa Zubair took 2 for 35, Tom Spilsbury 4 for 65 and Connor Melia 2 for 33.
In reply, Jeremy Rogers (25) and Raj Bhardwaj (17) put on 42 for the second wicket before Sarhad Rustum (25) and Paul Horton put on 64 for the fourth wicket.
Paul was eventually out for 52 with the score on 164 for 6. Sefton, then, had only five overs to reach the 218 required for victory. Tom Spilsbury came in and hit 23 not out in 22 balls, Daksh Singhvi 20 in 15 balls but eventually, they finished on 201 for 6 in 46 overs.
Sefton move up to third in the table, 12 points behind leaders Southport and Birkdale who they play next week

The Second XI also played Colwyn Bay but had to make the journey to Wales.
Sefton won the toss and decided to bat first. The highlight of their innings was an undefeated century by opener and Welshman Chris Bellis (105 not out). He was assisted in an opening stand of 72 by Luke Connolly (32) and a third wicket stand of 88 with skipper Tom Rushton (42).
The visitors were able to declare on 213 for 5 in 45 overs.
Colwyn Bay's reply featured a stand of 41 for the second wicket and 45 for the seventh but they were eventually dismissed for 165 in the 41st over. Ronan Brady took 3 for 38, Andy Aitchison 2 for 27 and Chris Bellis 2 for 8 in 8 balls,
Sefton move up to sixth in the table
The Third XI played Ormskirk's Thirds on the Lower Ground.
The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first.
Wickets fell fairly quickly and their best stands were 22 for the seventh and tenth wickets.
Mark Boyns finished with 2 for 29, James Orme 4 for 24 and Daniel Cuthbert 3 for 6 in 6 overs..
In reply, James Whittaker (26) and Tom Wilkinson put on 45 for the second wicket as Jack Sawbridge (21 not out) and Tom Wilkinson (34 not out) saw them home with a seven wicket victory.

The Fourth XI were away to Maghull's Thirds
Sefton won the toss and asked Maghull to bat first
Jamie Bowman took 4 for 35 and Adrian O'Hara 3 for 42 as Maghull were dismissed for 148 in 42.1 overs.
Sefton's reply saw them soon lose wickets and they were disappointed to be bowled out for 107 in the 38th over with just 10 balls of the game left.
Top scorers were Mike Heaney and Vemi Sivasubramanium who both scored 19.
