The First XI welcomed Heywood to Sefton Park for a pre-season friendly.
Sefton batted first and scored 144 all out in 44.4 overs with Harry Lewis scoring 22 and Ben Percival 49 not out.
In reply Heywood were dismissed for 130 in 38 overs with Raheem Kassir taking 4 for 28 and Asiri Gamage 4 for 15..
