The First XI travelled to play New Brighton.

The home side won the toss and decided to bat first.

New Brighton were soon in trouble with two wickets apiece from Huzaifa Zubair and Jimmy Dixon putting them at 25 for 4. They recovered by scoring 37 for the fifth wicket. Then, they struggled to reach 119 all out in 36.5 overs. Huzaifa Zubair finished with 2 for 35, Jimmy Dixon 3 for 33, Daksh Singhvi 3 for 25 and Tom Spilsbury 2 for 3.

In reply, Sefton were soon in trouble at 14 for3 and 30 for 4 but a stand 65 between Huzaifa Zubair (30) and Paul Horton recovered the situation. Paul held the innings together, finishing on 48 not out as Sefton passed the New Brighton total with eight wickets down in 44.3 overs.

Sefton move over New Brighton in the league into sixth place and welcome Hightown St Marys to Sefton Park next week

The Second XI played Leigh at Sefton Park and after electing to bat first were soon in trouble. They put and 12 for the first wicket but were eventually dismissed for 43 in the 21st over. only Raj Bhardwaj reached double figures (16)

In reply Sefton took two wickets but Leigh passed the Sefton total in 6.2 overs

The Seconds remain ninth in the table.

The Third XI travelled to play Formby's Thirds

Jack Sawbridge scored 41, Tom Wilkinson 47 and Scott Hawkes 38 to enable Sefton to declare on 164 for 7 in 42 overs.

Formby were soon in trouble in their reply and were eventually dismissed for 72 in the 43rd over. Ronan Brady took 3 for 14, Jon Dopson 2 for 11, Lewis Probert 2 for 11

The Thirds remain fourth in the table which is where they will finish with just one game left.

The Fourth XI played Maghull's Thirds on the Lower Ground.

After a delayed start of half an hour, Sefton batted first, Scoring was slow on a difficult wicket but Sefton recovered from 60 for 6 to reach 138 for 6 declared in 52 overs. Tim Yates batted through the innings to finish on 47 not out, Chris Mitchell scored 40 not out out. Earlier Josemon Vincent had scored 17.

Maghull were able to bat for 32 overs and reached 102 for 7 in a drawn game. Chris Mitchell took 3 for 24, Kaitlan Summers 2 for 26 and Paul Barlow 2 for 0
