A very successful Sunday for Sefton Park sides.
The Women's Softball side won at Leigh, scoring a net score of 335 to Leigh's 278
At home, Pete Elliott's XI also played Leigh and declared on 235 for 5 in 42 overs with James Whittaker scoring 46, James Stirling 45, Jack Thurley 83 not out and Pete Elliott 30.
In reply Leigh were dismissed for 70 in 21 overs with Ronan Brady taking 2 for 26, Sam Parkinson 3 for 13 and Ian Dawes 3 for 9
Another big win , this time for Phil Foster's XI at St Helen's Town against their Third XI.
Sefton's side featured two women from the successful Women's XI, Eleanor Cantwell and Sarah Jackson.
Sefton batted first and declared on 194 for 4 in 39.4 overs, the man of many names Riz Shah or Syed Bukhari returned to the club to score 101 not out, Sarah Jackson scored 17.
In reply James Milburn took 4 for 15, Sid James 2 for 2 and Andrew Fellows 2 for 15 to dismiss St Helens for 36 in 15.4 overs.
