Sefton Third XI beat Wavertree by 77 runs to progress in the Mike Dunn T20.
Navi Singh scores 27 from 9 balls and Raj Bhardwaj 33 (22) before Shadab Khan's 44 (23) took the score to 174 from 19.3 overs.
Wavertree's response never really challenged as it closed on 97-5, only Kamran Atif (49) making much headway for the visitors. There was a wicket for each of the five Sefton bowlers used. The Threes will now play either Wallasey or Liverpool in the next round.

On the same evening, Sefton Park's Women's Super 8s B side travelled to Southport and Birkdale in the Women's Hardball Super 8s League Division 2. Batting first Sefton made 233 (68-7) with Tina Jones (22) top scoring. S&B made 331 (142-2) in reply.
