On a day of heavy rain showers everywhere, the First XI made their last trip for a while to Lytham.
Lytham have decided to leave the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition at the end of the season.
Sefton won the toss and decided to field first..
THe Sefton opening bowlers were soon amongst the wickets and dismissed Lytham for 70 in 33.2 overs with Jimmy Dixon taking 7 for 31 and Huzaifa Zubair 3 for 31.
The First XI drop to fifth in the table with one game left to play
The Second XI completed their fixtures last week
The Third XI travelled to Crosby to play South Liverpool.
Sefton won the toss and decided to bat first. Scott Hwkes sored 26 not out and Ben Lester 19 in their total of 131 all out in 37.2 overs
An exciting finish followed a rain interruption as South Liverpool fell just two runs short of Sefton total in 44.5 overs.
With one game to play, the Thirds are fourth in the table.
The Fourths welcomed Liverpool's Fourths to Sefton Park
Sefton won the toss and asked Liverpool to bat first.
Sefton opened their bowling with an all female attack.
After Caitlin Summers and Eleanor Cantwell took one wicket apiece, the Sefton spin attack took over. Jamie Bowman took six wickets for 28 runs and Robin Brown 2 for 13 as Liverpool were dismissed for 95 in 23,4 overs.
Sefton set about chasing what look a comfortable total with an opening stand of 38 but after that, runs were harder to get and eventually, they passed the Liverpool total with eight wicket down in 33.2 overs. Opener Rob Kennedy scored 28, Tim Yates 17 and skipper Jo Ledbury 15 not out.
