Northop Hall won by 104 runs
The First XI made the short journey to local rivals and Division One table toppers Liverpool.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first.
They started with a good opening stand of 66 between Chris Bellis (23) and Jeremy Rogers who went on to make to make 38. Skipper Paul Horton made 31 and then the remainder of the Sefton innings was held together by James Stirling who scored 70 not out in a score of 208 for 9 declared in 58.2 overs.
In reply Liverpool lost their first wicket with just one on the board but quickly recovered to build an innings that included a stand of 78 for the fourth wicket. Rob Rankin, who scored 153 in the home fixture, scored 70. The introduction of spinner Connor Melia to the attack removed four Liverpool wickets for 11 runs but Liverpool managed to pass the Sefton total in the 43rd over with 8 wickets down.
Huzaifa Zubair finished with 2 for 57 which included his 50th wicket of the season.
The First XI now drop to fifth in the table and next week have another difficult game, away to second place Orrell Red Triangle
The Second XI welcomed Wigan to Sefton Park. THe visitors won the toss and decided to field first. After losing the first wicket on 12, Luke Connolly (40) and Pete Ostler (22) built the Sefton innings before both fell with the score on 68. Scott Aitchison then scored 44, Tom Rushton 34 and Sam Parkinson 21 not out to enable Sefton to declare on 180 for 6 in 45 overs.
Wigan's reply began solidly, putting on 32 for the first wicket but after that wickets fell steadily and they were eventually all out for 104 in the 36th over. Dave Kelly finished with 3 for 39, Chris Mitchell 2 for 19 and Mark Chappell 4 for 8.
The Seconds remain top of the table but have played a game more and are 15 points ahead of second place Ormskirk.




The Third XI played another top of the table side in Goodlass.
The visitors batted first and scored steadily but the introduction of spinner Ian Dawes started to produce wickets and eventually they were all out for 177 with Ian Dawes taking 6 for 32 and Ibrahim Mohammed 2 for 18.
In reply, Sefton's batters found the going tough, but the second half of the batting order managed to recover the situation and gain the Thirds their third draw in succession. Skipper Charles Daniels finished on 31 not out, Daniel Cuthbert 29 and Ibrahim Mohammed 21 as the team finished on 142 got 8 in 46 overs.



The Fourth XI travelled to Wales to play Northop Hall's Thirds at Shotton Cricket Club.
Northop Hall batted first and declared on 240 for 6 with Jamie Bowman ( for 55) and Finn Spragg (2 for 41) taking two wickets apiece.
In reply the Fourths were dismissed for 136 in 36.2 overs.
