The First XI welcomed old rivals Birkenhead Park to Sefton Park.
The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first. Two wickets fell quickly, both LBW, before stands of 40 and 38 as Park went on to reach 121 for 7. An undefeated stand of 37 for the 10 wicket enabled them to declare on 191 for 9 in 51 overs.
Jimmy Dixon finished with 2 for 33, Huzaifa Zubair 2 for 51, Daksh Singhvi 2 for 48 and Connor Melia 3 for 50
In reply Haroon Khan scored 37 out 45 for Sefton's first wicket. At 65 for 3, Sarhad Rustum joined skipper Paul Horton in the middle and they paced their innings to put on 109 before Sarhad was dismissed for 45. With the run rate needing to be a run a ball Huzaifa Zubair came in and hit 17 off eight balls to see Sefton home in style with a six with nine balls and six wickets to spare. Horton using his experience to oversee the chase, finishing on 57* as Sefton took 24 points

The Second XI travelled to, what promised to be, a difficult fixture at Ormskirk - last year's league winners.
Ormskirk won the toss and decided to bat first and despite the run out of league legend Ian Robinson, the hosts looked comfortable in reaching 43-1 before falling in a heap to post just 71 all out. Michael Kelly bowled unchanged for 5-30 and Andrew Nicholas chipped in at the end with two wickets in eight balls on league debut. Sefton wobbled a little in reply against a strong attack but Luke Connolly (32*) batted through the innings for a five wicket win.

The Third XI travelled to Crosby to play Northern's Fourths with Sefton winning the toss and electing to bat first. Skipper and club chairman Charles Daniels led the way with a century, making 100 not out in 100 balls. He was well supported by Ben Lester (47) and Scott Hawkes (25 not out). This enabled the visitors to declare on 217 for 4 in 37 overs.
In reply Northern's opener, Nikhil Kutty, scored 72 but had little support as his side were dismissed for 130. Usaid Mohammad took 2 for 24, Arhal Thomas 4 for 22 and Finn Spragg 3 for 28.

An exciting game on the Lower Ground saw the Fourth XI play Wavertree's Thirds.
Wavertree won the toss and asked Sefton to bat first.
Sefton began well with an opening partnership of 72 before going on to make 203 all out with Rob Kennedy scoring 47, Hamza Maqbol 46 not out, Rithvik Jonnalagaddaik 20.
In reply Wavertree passed the Sefton total with 8 wickets down off the first ball of the last over. Hamza Maqbool took 2 for 50, Rithvik Jonnalagadda 2 for 55 and Jamie Bowman 2 for 48.
