The Second XI travelled to Newton le Willows hoping to maintain top spot in the table.

Newton le Willows won the toss and decided to bat.

The Sefton bowlers, particularly the Kelly brothers, soon had them in trouble and reduced them to 84 for 8, One player, Marc de Brabander, who scored 81 not out, helped them to recover to 138 for 9 and then 154 all out in 48.4 overs.

Michael Kelly finished with 6 for 66 and Dave Kelly 4 for 34.

The Third XI welcomed Northern's Fourths to Sefton Park.

Sefton batted first with James Daniels scoring 80 and Neil Lester scoring 25. Then we had a glimpse of Sefton's future as Ben Lester (68 not out) and Sarhad Rustum (64 not out) put on and undefeated stand together.

In reply, Ronan Brady completed his 300 wickets for Sefton, taking 4 for 11. However, Northern had just ten men and their last two did an old fashioned blocking out of the last 20 overs to gain a draw, finishing on 134 for 8.
