The First XI played Northern in the quarter finals of the Ray Digman knockout.
Sefton won the toss and decided to bat first.
They scored early runs at a good rate but wickets fell too quickly. Huzaifa Zubair scored 21 in 10 balls, Dave Kelly 27 in 30 balls and Mark Chappell 18 in 20 balls. as Sefton reached 126 for 9 in their 20 overs.
One little comment is that Northern did not bowl one wide, people who have watched Sefton Park sides of the years may appreciate that.
In reply, for the second time within a week Northern knocked off the Sefton total without losing a wicket. This time in 11.2 overs.
