First XI

Third XI

Northern 3rd SK XI 232 for 5 dec. (36.1 overs)

Sefton Park won by 5 wickets.


The First XI welcomed Caldy to Sefton Park. The visitors won the toss and decided to field.

After Ben Percival was dismissed for 32, Sefton put on their best stand of the day for the third wicket, 59 between G Lee (48) and Paul Horton (44). Rob Supria (46 not out) added to the score as did Huzaifa Zubair with 24 and Sefton were able to declare on 230 for 6 in 55 overs

In reply, Caldy made good progress reaching 113 for 2 but two wickets fell on that total and they were eventually dismissed for 155 with five overs to spare in 45.5 overs.

Paul Horton finished with 4 for 32 and Ayan Madhu 3 for 3 for 31


The Second XI travelled to Colwyn Bay, won the toss and decided to bat first. They started reasonably well with Kaash Patel scoring 45 but found themselves at 102 for 6. A stand of 43 for the seventh wicket between Andy Aitchison (29) and Sam Parkinson (30) took them to 145 for 7 but the remaining three wickets then fell with out a run being added so 145 all out in 33.5 overs.

Colwyn by had no trouble in passing the Sefton total for the loss of 2 wickets in 29 overs


The Third XI featured in a high and fast scoring game. Northern won the toss and decided to bat first and raced to 232 for 5 declared in in 36.1. One batter, Paul Finnegan scored 109 in 72 balls. Mark Boyns took 2 for 64 and Ronan Brady 2 for 40.

In reply, Sefton had their own century hero as Jack Thorley scored 122 not out in 87 balls. He was backed up by Charlie Daniels (32) and Chris Mitchell (30 not out) as Sefton passed the Northern total in the 40 over for a 5 wicket win
