The First XI welcomed Northop Hall to Sefton Park.

The visitors won the toss and decided to field first.

Haroon Khan (25) and Chris Bellis put on 39 for the first wicket but after that wickets fell quickly and they were soon 51 for 5. Tom Spilsbury (19) helped to create a small recovery before Jimmy Dixon, batting at number 10, scored 26 not out as Sefton reached 122 all out in 51 overs.

Sefton's demise began with the introduction of bowler James Hurlin into the attack for Northop Hall and he finished with 8 for 48 and later scored a valuable 48 not out.

Northop Hall's reply gave Sefton some hope as they fell to 51 for 5 but a stand of 62 for the sixth wicket ensured their victory by 4 wickets.

The disappointing run by the First XI sees them drop to seventh in the table.

The Second XI travelled to Newton le Willows and elected to bat after winning the toss. Joash Vinu (48) and Jeremy Rogers (14) put on 37 for the first wicket and then Joash and Tom Rushton (25) added 50 more for the second wicket. The innings faltered at 114 for 6 but then Sam Parkinson (39) and Pete Ostler (31 not out) enabled Sefton to declare on 185 for 8 in 45 overs.

In reply, Newton le Willows were able to pass the Sefton total with six wickets down in the 38th over.

Sefton are ninth in the table

The Third XI achieved a comfortable victory against Liverpool's Thirds on the Lower Ground.

Sefton won the toss and decided to field first. They soon had Liverpool in trouble and eventually bowled them out for 121 in 31.4 overs. Mark Boyns took 3 for 28, Finn Miller 2 for 39 and Finn Spragg 5 for 33.

Sefton required just 14.4 overs to knock them off with James Whittaker scoring 45, Alex Woods 64 not out in 45 balls for a nine wicket victory

Sefton are fourth in the table that remarkably Liverpool lead.

The Fourth XI enjoyed their day out at Caldy where they amassed 250-2 from 33 overs. Hamza Maqbool scored an unbeaten 126 with Joe Vincent finishing on 49 not out as the third wicket pair shared an unbroken partnership of 217.

Caldy's 3rd XI dug in but were eventually dismissed in the 38th over for 113. Johnny Dopson took 4-28. The 137 run victory takes the 4th XI second in the table.
