The First XI welcomed Spring View to Sefton Park
The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first. The decision seemed justified as they steadily built up a good total reaching 30 for 6 in 55 overs at tea. They batted on after tea and declared on 252 for 7 in 58.1 overs with a best stand of 87 for the seventh wicket.
Sefton opened their reply with Chris Bellis and 15 year old wicketkeeper James Stirling. James did not get off the mark until the 11th over but then went on to score his first First XI fifty eventually being run out for 64 in 93 ball with the score on 164 for 1. Chris Bellis went on to score 102, he has now scored more than 600 runs in the league.
Sefton began to chase the total as the innings progressed but eventually fell 15 runs short in a drawn game. Paul Horton finished on 46 not out in 42 balls.

The Third XI made the journey to play Southport and Birkdale. The home side won the toss and decided to bat first. After being 40 for 4, they recovered to 131 for 5 and then dis not lose another wicket before they declared on 201 for 5 in in 42.4 overs.
In reply Sefton started well, putting on 61 for the first wicket of which Dan Coonan was out for 30. Opener Richie Conlan remained at the crease as 4 other wickets fell and was still there on 92 not out as Sefton passed the Southport total with 5 wickets down in the 40th over
The Third XI travelled to play Ormskirk's Thirds.
Sefton batted first and scored 162 all out with Rhys Owens scoring 54 and James Daniels scoring 227
Ormskirk passed the Sefton total with 4 wickets down.
The Fourth XI entertained Northern's Fifth XI on the Lower Ground
Northern batted first and scored 104 with Dan Shakeel taking 4 for 8, George Raven 2 for 11 and Jamie Turner 2 for 10
In reply, Sefton lost early wickets but the skipper Jo Ledbury with 29 not out and Dan Shakeel with 57 not out steered them to a 7 wicket victory
