With rain preventing any play in the First, Third and Fourth games, only the Second XI saw any play.
The Second XI welcomed Bootle to Sefton Park.
After a 12.30 pm start Sefton reached 13 for 2 when the rains came. A lot of mopping up saw play restart soon after 3.00 pm and Sefton went on to reach 161 for 9 dec. in 37.5 overs.
Captain Andy Aitchison scored 46, Leo Spilsbury 52 and Dave Kelly 37.
In reply, Bootle reached 75 without loss in 12 overs when the rain became too heavy and the game was abandoned for the day.
