Fourth XI
Northern 5th XI conceded -25 points to Sefton Park
The First XI welcomed Sutton (St Helens) to Sefton Park .
The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first
The first wicket fell without a run on the board and excellent bowling by the Sefton attack made sure that they kept on falling. The biggest stand was 20 for the fifth wicket as Jimmy Dixon finished with 5 for 28 in 17 overs. Huzaifa Zubair took 3 for 44 and Daksh Singhvi 2 for 10 as Sutton were dismissed for 83 in 34.5 overs.
In reply, the Sefton openers took 10.2 to pass the Sutton total
Haroon Khan scored 50 not out in 33 balls with 6 sixes including one to win the game and bring up his fifty. Ben Percival scored 30 in 30 balls.
The First XI move up two places to fifth in the table.






The Second XI travelled to play Wallasey where the home side won the toss and elected to bat
In this game, two wickets fell before a run was scored and then two more quickly to take the score to 19 for 4. A stand of 113 then retrieved the Wallasey situation.and eventually, they were able to declare on 181 for 8 in 45 overs.
In reply, despite 25 from opener James Whittaker, Sefton were only 45 for 3 but after that some rapid run scoring took place Tom Rushton scored 71 in 53 balls, Sam Parkinson 26 in 23 balls and Michael Kelly 22 not out in 17 ball, all of which enabled Sefton to pass the Wallasey total with 6 wickets down in 6 overs,
The Seconds are sixth in the table but only 23 points behind leaders Wallasey with a game in hand
The Thirds made the short journey to play Liverpool. The home side decided to field after winning the toss and on a poor wicket, Sefton struggled for runs. Top scorer was Paul Morris with 38 as Sefton were dismissed for 125 in 33.4 overs.
Ronan Brady took 3 for 59 in Liverpool's reply which resulted in them passing the Sefton total with four wickets down in the 25th over.
The Thirds are now third in the table.
The Fourth XI game against Northern's Fifths was conceded by Northern.
So 25 points for Sefton but they are having no luck with games being called off.
